TANBI WETLANDS MANDINARI - HIKING

Enjoy a guided walk through a varied landscape of woodlands, mangroves, wetlands, women’s gardens and rice fields.
This walk offers a beautiful mix of nature, local culture and everyday rural life. Along the way, you experience peaceful scenery, rich birdlife and the quiet charm of the surrounding countryside. After the walk, you return to Belgambia Lodge, where lunch is included.
It is an ideal experience for travellers who enjoy nature, soft adventure and a more authentic side of The Gambia.

SANYANG / PARADISE BEACH

Sanyang / Paradise Beach is one of the most relaxing coastal excursions in our Belgambia Tours collection.
This trip takes you to a beautiful stretch of beach where golden sand, ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere invite you to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Along the way, you experience a different side of The Gambia, with local life, tropical scenery and the refreshing sea breeze never far away.
You normally return to Belgambia Lodge for a late lunch, which is included, but lunch at the beach can also be arranged for a supplement of €5 per person, excluding drinks.

CYCLING TRIP FROM MANDINARI TO KEREWAN

a short and enjoyable excursion for guests who like to explore the area in an active and relaxed way. Starting from Belgambia Lodge Mandinari, the cycling distance is approximately 6 km. Along the route, you pass through peaceful surroundings and get a small glimpse of everyday village life in The Gambia. This excursion is ideal for travelers who enjoy light activity, fresh air and a more local experience beyond the lodge. It is a simple but pleasant trip that combines movement, nature and authenticity.

LAMIN RICEFIELDS / MANGROVE BOAT EXPERIENCE / LAMIN LODGE

Explore the peaceful mangrove creeks of the Tanbi Wetland on a boat trip departing from Lamin Lodge, one of the area’s most scenic and atmospheric waterfront spots. Gliding through the creeks, you discover a beautiful world of mangroves, birdlife and quiet estuary landscapes, with a glimpse of local life along the water.
Lamin Lodge itself adds a unique and authentic touch to the experience, making this excursion about more than just the boat ride. You normally return to Belgambia Lodge for lunch, which is included, but lunch at Lamin Lodge can also be arranged for a supplement of €5 per person, excluding drinks.

BIJILO FOREST PARK

The park is especially famous for its playful Green Monkeys and impressive Western Red Colobus, offering wonderful close encounters and great photo opportunities. KACHIKALLY CROCODILE POOL, BAKAU

KARTONG / REPTILE FARM / SOUTH COAST

Makasutu Culture Forest combines wildlife, scenery and local tradition in a calm and authentic setting along the Mandina Bolong.
During the visit, you can also learn more about local trees, plants and traditional medicine, and see how palm wine is made, with the chance to taste it.
